Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data Wolp collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Tobias Kocúr, a sole trader operating under the brand Wolp, company ID (IČO) 57739951 (address and full details in our legal notice). You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@wolp.ai. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require one for our processing.
What we collect
- Waitlist and beta offer. If you join the waitlist or claim the beta offer, we collect your email address, which form you used, the consent wording you saw, and when you signed up and confirmed. If you answer the optional beta questions (what you chase most, how many such emails a week, which agent you work in), we store your answers with your signup.
- Email to us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- Analytics, only with your consent. How you use this page: pages and sections viewed, clicks, answers to the optional beta questions, scrolling, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and anonymised session recordings in which typed text is masked. Details are in our cookie policy.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not use advertising trackers or social media pixels. Until you accept analytics, fonts and scripts come only from our own domain, so loading the site does not send your data to third parties.
Why we use it and on what basis
- To email you about access to Wolp and its launch, and to keep your beta offer, based on your consent when you join the waitlist (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We first send one email asking you to confirm your address; nothing else is sent until you confirm.
- To prepare the beta around what you need, using your optional answers to the beta questions, based on the same consent.
- To understand which parts of the page work and improve it, based on your consent to analytics cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules on cookies).
- To answer your messages, based on our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To run and protect the website, based on our legitimate interest in a secure, working service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Giving us your email address is voluntary. Without it we cannot add you to the waitlist or keep your beta offer; the rest of the site works the same. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Who receives it
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA), which stores our mailing list and sends our emails; Attio Ltd (United Kingdom), which hosts our list of signups and your answers; Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which hosts this website and processes the signup; and, if you accept analytics, Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited (Microsoft Clarity). If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as the one for the United Kingdom or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist and beta signups: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, and no longer than 24 months after Wolp launches. If you never confirm your email, we delete the signup after 30 days.
- Messages to us: as long as needed to deal with your request, then up to 12 months.
- Analytics: Google Analytics data for 14 months; Clarity recordings for up to 30 days and aggregated reports for up to 13 months.
- Server logs: according to our hosting provider’s standard retention, usually a few weeks.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw consent at any time: for emails, use the unsubscribe link or write to us; for analytics, use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page; this does not affect processing before the withdrawal. Write to hello@wolp.ai and we will reply within one month.
You have the right to object at any time to the use of your email for updates about Wolp; we will then stop.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work. In Slovakia, this is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. Please do not join the waitlist if you are under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell waitlist members by email.
