AI transparency
How Wolp tells people they are dealing with an AI assistant, who stays in control, and where we stand under the EU AI Act. This document is issued in English only; the English version is the sole and binding version.
What is AI. Wolpers use a large language model (provider: Anthropic, sub-processor) to write text and make decisions within the Customer's rules.
Disclosure. Every outgoing message carries a footer: "This message was written by Wolp, an AI assistant acting on behalf of company (name). Any commitment is made only by a person at company. Reply STOP and we will not contact you again." Where a named Wolper is the writer the recipient sees "Written by Wolper · wolp / An AI assistant acting on behalf of …". Sender header: "Wolper · Owner's assistant" <handle@domain>. In the app the Wolper is labelled "name · owner's assistant" and "as an AI assistant of the buyer". The footer is in English for now. Art. 50(1) requires clear and distinguishable information at the latest at the first interaction, so localising the footer into the recipient's language is planned (the Customer chooses; Wolp supplies SK/EN/DE/CS). Art. 50 applies from 2 August 2026.
Human oversight. Risky actions need human approval; only a person approves, never the model. The model never sees limits. A Wolper cannot make commitments.
EU AI Act. The Act has no formal "limited risk" class; Wolp is a system subject to the art. 50 transparency duties. Wolp, as provider of the system, meets the duty to tell a person they interact with AI through the footer and the "assistant" sender header; the Customer is the deployer (Terms clause 16(i)). The art. 4 AI-literacy duty is on Wolp's internal checklist. The system is not intended for high-risk uses (hiring, credit, etc.); the AUP prohibits them. Machine-readable marking of synthetic text (art. 50(2)) is not implemented yet.
Processing by the model. The gateway has message logging and cache off; Wolp does not train on the data. Data is processed under the contractual terms with the supplier (sub-processor Anthropic).
